Waxing Tips

Waxing At Home. Instead of Using the Wax Manufacturer's...
Waxing powder try: Corn starch, baby powder or talc.
Pre-waxing lotion try: Warm water and a gentle exfoliator on the body, or mild cleanser for the face to rid oil and make-up. Just make sure to pat skin dry.

After-wax lotion try: An aloe-based gel for the body and for the eye area place brewed, cooled tea bags or sliced cucumbers on for a few minutes.

Wax remover try: Baby oil or petroleum jelly to rid leftover wax on the skin. Be sure to then clean with water, you don't want this residue left on the skin.

Wooden wax applicators try: Craft or Popsicle sticks used whole for the body or broken in half lengthwise for the eyebrows or face.

Most Important youthful Tips

No heavy foundation.

You'll be tempted to cake on the cream to powder foundation but don't! Heavy makeup settles in tiny lines, exaggerating them. Instead, opt for light foundations that give good coverage, like mineral powders. Contrary to popular belief, mineral powder isn't like the sheer finishing powder that Grandma wore. Mineral powders do a great job of softening and covering your face.

Use a concealer one shade lighter.

Go light or go yellow! A yellow-based concealed hide’s age spots easily. If your skin can handle a yellow concealer, select a concealer that is one shade lighter than your natural skin tone. Apply it before the foundation and don't worry about blending it into your skin, you'll be covering it anyways.

Don't go crazy with the mascara.

Heavy, spider-leg mascara isn't flattering on anyone. Think Tammy Faye Bakker.

Wear skin-toned lipstick

Crazy, bold colors will grab attention but skin-toned lipsticks make you look younger. Try a cappuccino or sheer lipstick for a youthful makeup application.

Sweep on one or two eyes Shadows,

not three or four. Getting complicated with the eye makeup is an old school technique. Don't do it. Keep it simple and attractive!

Skip gloopy glosses

Gloopy glosses only belong on teens. You don't want to try to look that young. If you want some shimmer, select a sparkling lip color.

Rub on creamy cheek color.

Just tab and rub. Keep it light and creamy looking.

Dash bronzing powder on your nose and forehead

Bronzers are true youth makers. Sweep bronzer across the cheeks, nose and forehead for a finishing touch.

Apply lifting creams before you wear makeup.

Eye creams really do work, if you can find a good one. Apply eye lifting creams before

you apply your foundation. It's a real youth maker!

Easy Dandruff Treatment

Reason

1. Hormonal imbalance may be one cause of dandruff. This makes the body to release more dead skin in scalp.
2. Infrequent shampooing of the hair or inadequate rinsing of the scalp and hair may also be the cause.
3. Improper use of hair-coloring products or excessive use of hot hair curlers or curling irons.
4. Dandruff can be a manifestation of an allergic reaction to chemicals in hair gels, hair oils, or hair sprays.
5. It may be result of fungus called malassezia. Malassezia lives on the scalps of most healthy adults without causing problems. But sometimes it grows out of control, feeding on the oils secreted by your hair follicles and causing irritation that leads to dandruff.
6. Emotional tension or stress may also lead to the dandruff in hairs.

Indication

1. Dry skin: The dry skin may be the result of cold weather or room overheating. But flakes from dry skin are generally smaller and less oily than those caused by dandruff.
2. Contact dermatitis: the disease contact dermatitis may be the result of the dandruff in the hair. The red, itchy and scaling scalp is the symptoms.
3. Plaques may include the scalp, eyebrows, nose, forehead, or ears
4. Hair loss may also be associated with this disease.
5. Dandruff is white, oily-looking patches like on the scalp, which flake off.

Make well

1. Zinc pyrithione shampoos can be used to cure dandruff. These contain the antibacterial and anti-fungal agent zinc pyrithione, which has been shown to reduce the fungus that causes dandruff and seborrhea.
2. Coal tar, a byproduct of the coal manufacturing process, helps conditions such as dandruff, seborrheic dermatitis and psoriasis by slowing cell turnover.
3. The use of a teaspoon of fresh lemon juice for the last rinse, while washing the hair, is another useful remedy. This not only leaves the hair glowing but also removes stickiness and prevents dandruff.
4. The juice of snake gourd has been found beneficial in the prevention and treatment of dandruff.
5. Citrus fruits, bananas, dried, stewed, or tinned fruits should not be taken.
6. Anti-fungal shampoos containing ketoconazole work well for dandruff.
7. If dandruff or itchy scalp persists for 3 weeks or the scalp becomes irritated or severely itchy, seek advice from a doctor.

Tips for Babies teeth

o Don't give babies a bottle containing milk, juice or a formula in bed, this is a not good for their teeth. The sugars from milk or juice around the mouth for long periods can lead to decay in a baby's little teeth.
o Prolonged breast feeding with small feeds every few minutes can also lead to tooth decay.
o When babies get teeth, it is important to give them foods to chew. Young children need help to clean their teeth properly.

Healthy Teeth Tips

Clean your teeth after eating by toothbrush and dental floss. Use a correct toothbrush, and brush and floss correctly.
Visit the dentist regularly. Periodontal disease of gums is common in adults and in older people. The dentist can remove plaque from teeth, reducing the number of bacteria - a key to helping prevent tooth decay and gum disease. You can contact your local dental clinic to schedule your next appointment..Don't ignore gums that bleed when you brush or floss or changes in the way your teeth fit together when you bite.
Ask your dentist about cosmetic options for improving the appearance of teeth that are stained or chipped.
Don't use tobacco products; they can increase your risk of gum disease and cancer of the mouth and throat.
Don't chew on hard objects that could crack a tooth.
Wear a mouth guard when playing active sports.
Eat a balanced diet for good overall health, selecting a variety of foods from the five main food groups (bread, cereals, and other grain products; fruits; vegetables; meat, poultry, fish and alternatives; milk, cheese, and yogurt), and limit snacks.
Eating sweetened cereals dry is bad for teeth, always add milk.
Drinking frequent cups of tea or coffee with sugar added will increase the risk of teeth decay.
When less saliva is available on very hot days, one should not consume foods containing sugars that stick in the teeth.
Chewable vitamin C tablets with or without sugar are acidic and are a hazard for not only children's teeth but also to adult's teeth. Do not use lemon juice for whitening because vitamin C will cause the teeth to los

e calcium damaging teeth quicker than anything else.

Lip Gloss Tips

a Want your lip gloss to stay on longer? Brush a dot of loose powder on lips first and then your lip gloss.

b. Want to create a fuller lip? Apply a dot of shimmer lip gloss over your lipstick. The lighter, shimmering colour will create the illusion of a fuller pout regardless of what lipstick colour you're wearing.
c. Have an eye gloss that just is not working for you? Use it as lip gloss. You’ll find that it can lasts even longer than your regular lip gloss.

d. In humid weather I found out that lip gloss fades super fast. To keep the look, apply a very matte lipstick in a light shade, blot, and powder, and then apply lip gloss (clear or shimmering) on top. You'll find that the colour and shine lasts hours longer because of the matte lipstick.
e. Want a shiny, glossy lipstick, without the drips? Apply your lipstick ON TOP of your clear lip gloss. The gloss will dilute and create a shiny color, and by applying the lipstick on top of the gloss, you won't get the glossy bleeding after you've worn it for 2 hours.
f. For longest wearing lipgloss, apply a nude lip pencil, or the new invisible lip pencils on your lips first. Then apply your lip gloss on top. This gives the lip gloss something to hold on to and lasts a few hours longer.

Lip Care Tips

Tips that help:
• Drink plenty of water, thoroughly hydrate your skin, including lips.
• Avoid harsh weather. If this is impossible, make sure you always protect your lips by applying a lip balm.
• Try using the lip balms regularly. If you wait until you have chapped lips, the recovery will take longer.
• Try not to lick your lips or remove the skin with your fingers. It irritates the skin, and slows down any efforts we invest in lip care.
• Make sure you take vitamin supplements. Often, cracks in the corner of the mouth indicate a deficiency of Vitamin B2.
Start off with a lip scrub recipe:
Ingredients
• 1 teaspoon of honey
• 1 teaspoon of baking soda
• Olive oil
Mix honey and baking ingredients until the mass resembles a paste.
Apply the mix on your lips and leave it on for a couple of minutes.
Gently rub the lips.
Wash of with lukewarm water
Let the lips dry out and then apply olive oil. It will help the lips hydrate.
There is also a recipe that is very simple, too. Apply unsalted butter on your lips occasionally. That's it. It has the same effect as the olive oil.

Some Tips for Become Fair

Apply a mixture of flour and lemon juice and milk for 20 minutes.
Repeat this everyday. For the best results apply twice a day (but only if its urgent) and don't forget to rinse off with lukewarm water. Trust me, it helps!

Lemon juice with honey helps a lot....

You can use my tips if you need to whiten your skin. Mix a cup of flour with curd; I would recommend applying it to your whole body (it wont be nice if your face is white and the rest of your body is dark) it really works!

Well, the best way is put aloe vera on daily! I tried it,it works. In just one week I became much fairer.

Mix multaani mitti with gulabri jal and keep it for one day. The next day, apply the mixture on your face and body . Leave it for One hour. Wash off with with cold or luke warm water. For the best results, you can add honey into the mixture.

Stay away from sun, eat healthy diet, take vitamin C, drink juices and plenty of water.

How to get white skin

You can use lemon juice and cucumbers mixed with flour which makes it like a pasty facial mask-use a blender (the flour also has whitening effects)
or you can take milk and honey baths, thatll get you white within a few months (sorry, but white skin doesn't come just like that, it takes a little time)
If you wanted to try other ways that aren't so natural, you can get whitening cream, but i don't think it's too healthy for your skin

Home made facial tips

1. Stay away from the sun as much as you can. Not asking you to act like a freak avoiding the sun all the time but don’t go out and expose yourself to the sun when it is scorching blazing hot.

2. Drink water as much as you can drink and minimum eight glasses of water a day so that you stay sufficiently hydrated. And eat lots of fresh fruits and vegetables as well as soups, fruit juice like apple juice, tomato juice, and lime juice are best to take.

3. You can take vitamin C pills which can make the pigmentation of your skin lighter.(the sun causes uneven pigmentation on your skin FYI).

4. Apply the mixture of gram flour with lemon juice, curd, turmeric, honey and a few drops of almond oil on your body and leave it to dry after that wash with cold water avoid applying soap on your body.

5. You can apply a mixture of sandal wood paste on alternative days and apply curd or mixture of rice powder, curd and oats twice a week and also you can apply the fair & lovely cream daily.

6. Soya bean can also cleanse your body.

7. When your body is healthy and clean, your skin will naturally have a glow which will prevent your skin from being dull and dark.

Diet Control

Your diet contributes a great deal towards making you beautiful. Therefore eating a proper healthy diet is important to keep looking beautiful. Given below are a number of food items that you should include in your beauty diet.
• Almonds: These nuts are known for their anti-aging properties. They contain a lot of vitamin E and have a high amount of fatty acids that help to keep your skin supple. Almonds also contain antioxidant selenium. Do not too many of them as they will add calories. A handful is enough.
• Protein: To keep nails strong and moisturized by eating plenty of protein. Protein helps in the build up of keratin. Keratin is the substance that makes up nails. Skinless, boneless chicken breast, lean turkey, tuna and beans are rich in proteins.
• Vitamin B: Food that is rich in vitamin B makes your hair shiny. Important sources of this vitamin are eggs, milk, green vegetables and poultry. Silica is important to keep your hair elastic, shiny and healthy. Raw oats, cucumber skin, onions and bean sprouts are rich in this mineral.
• Fish: Eating oily fish like salmon that contain omega-3 fatty acids will help hydrating and nourishing skin.
• Zinc and Calcium: Both these minerals help in eradicating pimples. Zinc is found in oysters, turkey, seafood, eggs and milk. Calcium is no doubt good for your bones, but helps in clearing your skin too. Calcium rich foods like skim milk, low-fat cheese and yogurt. These foods not only remove pimples but reduce wrinkles as well.
• Vitamin C: Vitamin C helps in the buildup of collagen, which reduces wrinkles. When your skin has more collagen your skin retains its elasticity and wrinkles take longer to form. Kiwi fruit is the best source of vitamin C. Other good sources are oranges, mango, honeydew and papaya.
• Vitamin E: Vitamin E is known to ease the swelling and redness associated with sunburns. Swelling causes the stretching of skin that in turns leads to wrinkle formation. Eat plenty of peaches and blueberries to increase the buildup of vitamin E in your body.
• Vitamin C and Iron: Vitamin C and iron together help to reduce the dark circles under your eyes. Eat skinless chicken and red, yellow and orange peppers. These are rich in both and will help in reducing dark circles.
• Water: Drink as much as water as you can. Water removes the toxins from the body and refreshes your skin and makes in glow. Water hydrates your skin and keeps it supple.
• Tomatoes: Tomatoes contains skin-caner-fighting antioxidants: beta-carotene, vitamin C and lycopene. Eat tomatoes in any form and you will ingest these antioxidants. To increase the body's absorption of lycopene cook tomatoes in a little olive oil.
• Apples and Celery: To remove stain from the enamel o

f your teeth eat crunchy foods like apples and celery

Tips

1) Take orange peel powder from any drug store
2) Mix it with milk

Try "garnier men powerlight" cream to lighten face and use "Block and White Ultima skin perfecting whitener" for body

Hair Care

Oily Hair:

Try to avoid daily washing. The sebaceous glands are overstimulated, secreting more grease onto the hair. This creates a vicious circle where the more you wash is the greasier it becomes.

Another problem with regular washing is that although the roots are greasy the rest of your hair is stripped of oil and the ends become dry and brittle. Use a mild ph-balanced shampoo and wash hair without rubbing the scalp too much. Only apply conditioner to the mid and ends rather than at the roots.

Watch your diet. Oily and fatty foods can contribute to greasy skin and scalp. Best of all is to use those days when you're at home to give your hair a rest from
daily washing. Try using a children's shampoo as these are often mild enough for greasy hair.
